How VistaTrak Works

VistaTrak implements the three components of RFID to increase the efficiency and accuracy of your contrast media management process.

Tagged Contrast

  • Tags are integrated in Magnevist® and Ultravist® Labels
  • Product NDC number identifying vial size and presentation, lot number, and expiration date stored in each tag supports item level tracking
  • Passive tags only activate when triggered by the reader

  • Locked-access configured to support your security protocol
  • Two cabinet models available with flexible cabinet configurations to suit your usage and capacity needs
  • Antennas built into the shelves allow each vial of contrast to be tracked to its exact location
  • Reader located in the cabinet collects all tag data for sharing with other information systems
